2011 Jaguar XE the new style E-Type


The Jaguar XE is set to be a great new addition to the Jaguar stable; it is due to be shown at the 2011 Geneva motor show.

Some rumours are naming the XE as the E-type successor and it’s thought to be aimed at the Porsche Boxster / Cayman arena.

A sporty two-seater designed to fit between the XK and the XF. The new chassis will be constructed using a lightweight alloy which in the future may be the replacement for the XF, XK and XJ models.

 


Power
Under the bonnet they will be using V6 engines with the supercharged version turning out 350bhp. The XE’s 0-60 is yet to be confirmed.

Jaguar boss Mike O’Driscoll said:
“We have a great desire to build this car.”
