In the year 2007 the newly reworked and rebuilt BMW X5 is coming. This new car is a blend of driving dynamics, exclusivity of interior and exterior and comes with better handling. This new sports activity automobile has a better power efficiency and V8 engine. This vehicle is the only one of its class with Active steering, Head up display, run flat tires as standard and Adaptive drive system. Transmission is new six speed with electronic gears selection.

Also well known Xdrive system for all wheels drive technology had some improvements. Its chassis has been optimized and is now lightweight and comes with extreme torsial stiffness. Interior is now larger and offer up to seven seats. Critizesed iDrive control system has been reworked and comes with six keys with programmable option. Interior is exclusive with some innovative options. The new BMW X5 is also longer than the previous model, however the overall style is still the same. The extra size can be only spotted in the interior of the vehicle.

The new model comes with a better fron and rear suspension which gives this car a better handling and agility and is better able to absorb shocks from the road. Steering is more responsive. The new BMW X5 is following its precendor which was very successful and stated the benchmark for this vehicles category. The new model set this standards even higher in terms like performance, power, handling, dynamics and ride comfort. Both engines are upgraded in power, refinement and performance.
