Our oldest mobile detaining van looks as new as the day it was purchased. The wheel wells are still white and the black plastic liners inside the wheel wells are still shinny. The paint looks healthy and the wheels look new. How can this be possible on a 1-year old service van with thousands of miles? FREQUENT WASHINGS. To prevent dirt and grime from building up on the paint, we wash and wax the van weekly and sometimes daily. We are in the business of keeping our customers vehicles looking there best! It stands to reason that our vehicles must be in pristine condition as well.
For some people it is not practical to wash their car everyday. However, it is practical to have it washed and waxed weekly. By doing this, the vehicle will look new for years to come. I would like to insert a disclaimer to better qualify my above statement. Keeping your car washed on a weekly basis will add to the overall longevity. However, your annual or semiannual detail will remove paint contamination, oxidation, swirl marks and scratches. Washing and waxing will not remove all types of environmental contamination. Having the vehicle detailed once or twice per year and having the carpets shampooed, will keep your vehicle look new.
